New functionality and usability improvements

  • Archive emails as documents directly from side panel
    A new “Archive email as Document” function is added to the client/lead section on the side-panel.
  • Domains Exclusion list added to the group settings on the intelliflo store
    intelliflo admins are now able to specify a list of domain names to exclude from auto-archiving. This is particularly useful when internal employees have clients’ records in intelliflo office. The exclusion list allows admins to prevent any internal mail from being auto archived in intelliflo office.
  • Exclusion list added to auto-archiving configuration for each user
    Users are now able to specify a list of email addresses and domain names to exclude from auto-archiving rules (user-level).
  • Outlook category is set for archived emails
    Emails that have been archived to intelliflo office (either manually or automatically) are now marked with green category in Outlook.
  • Archive after send
    Email archiving for sent emails has been modified to archive emails only after they have been sent. Combined with performance optimization for retrieving emails from Microsoft 365, this functionality allows users to mark emails for archiving after the emails are sent, eliminating the need for users to ensure that sent emails are not modified after they have been archived in intelliflo office.
  • Access denied error
    Instead of getting “Access Denied” error when trying to archive emails from accounts in Outlook that are different than the primary mailbox that was linked to their intelliflo office account, users will be notified that only the linked mailbox can be used for archiving.
  • Separate Master plans from Top Ups
    Master plans are separated from Top Ups in the list of records for email archiving and are marked as “Master”.
  • ‘Refresh’ button is added
    Instead of having to refresh the whole side-panel when records are added or modified in intelliflo office, users can now refresh only the specific class: service cases, plans or tasks.
  • Change in the behavior of clients/leads search
    Instead of forcing users to wait until the first page-worth of clients/leads list is retrieved, the search window goes directly into search mode where users can immediately search for clients by entering filters.

Authentication Support

  • Entra Token Protection Mode
    Version 4.1.0 supports Microsoft Entra Token Protection for customers requiring higher level of security for user and device authentication when signing in to Microsoft 365.

Performance Improvements

  • Clients / Leads caching
    To improve performance of Implicit for Outlook and minimize the load on the intelliflo office servers, clients and leads are cached on the desktop.
  • Groups settings caching
    To eliminated unnecessary calls to intelliflo store, groups settings are cached and refreshed every 12 hours

Bug Fixes

  • Auto-Archiving rules applied to all email recipients
    When rules are defined to archive emails to all clients/leads, these rules are now applied to all email recipients.
  • Email archiving to joint records
    A visual indication to users which records are joint, so they don’t try to archive to non-joint records.
  • “.NET Error – Could not load file or library”
    This error happens when Microsoft pushes an update to .NET desktop runtime but is unable to restart applications that are running on the desktop (Microsoft bug). To prevent this error, the Implicit Desktop App monitors .NET desktop version and if it detects an upgrade, it automatically restarts itself. This is done in the background without any user involvement.

Updating intelliflo Outlook integration

If you have permissions to install software on your desktop, click “Update Now”.

If you need to ask IT to grant you permissions to install, please do so and then click “Update Now”.

 New functionality and improvements included in this release

  • Changes to manual archiving of outgoing emails
    To shorten the time that it took outgoing emails to be archived in intelliflo office, the logic has been changed to archive the outgoing emails in real-time before they are sent, instead of waiting to retrieve them from Microsoft 365 after sending.
  • Added “Quick Archive” to side-panel in email compose mode
    “Quick Archive” button (email envelopes) was added to each record on the side panel in email compose mode.
  • Added Refresh buttons at each record level
    When updating a record in intelliflo office, user can simply click the ‘Refresh’ button at the record level to see the updates in the side-panel.
  • Archiving to joint clients from side-panel
    Added an “Always archive email to joint client” option directly from side-panel.
  • Adding clients’ names to synced meetings
    Upon syncing meetings, clients’ names are added in brackets at the beginning of the meeting subject line.
  • Support for mixed shared mailboxes that are also added to Outlook as accounts
    Support for shared 365 mailboxes are also added to Outlook as separate accounts.
  • UI changes to the side-panel toolbar
    • Set default action to archive email
      User can now access the archiving tool by clicking the archive button without having to select it from the drop-down.
    • Changed calendar sync icon.

 

Bug fixes included in this release

  • Private Emails
    Archived emails are not marked as private so they can be accessed and viewed by other users.
  • Green checkmarks for auto-archiving
    The green checkmarks that indicates that emails were archived are now working for auto-archiving of sent emails.
  • Outlook Web edition (Edge)
    Fix for a bug that was deployed by Microsoft as an update to Edge browser.
  • Documents were not linked to joint clients
  • Scanning all recipients when sending emails
    When composing an email, side panel scans the list of email recipients and identifies intelliflo office clients regardless of where they are included in the TO/CC list.
